Co-ed Self-defense introduces the maneuvers of self-defense. Students will be given the opportunity to learn the vital areas of the body which could be used as a target in the event of being attacked, how to use one’s own body as a weapon, how to use ordinary objects as a weapon, and how to subdue an attacker. Emphasis is placed on how to recognize and avoid dangers; and if avoidance is not possible, how to use self-defense techniques. 1 credit   View Syllabus (pdf)
