HEM 217  -  CLINICAL & FIELD EXPERIENCE II Course Search  

This is a continuation of the clinical experience provided to students who have completed the Paramedic Program classroom/lab curriculum. This is part two of the required three Paramedic clinical courses. The student will complete numerous skills while under the supervision of a clinical field preceptor. During the clinical course, the student will complete patient charts, provide pass down of patient care and demonstrate interactions with patients, caregivers, allied health professionals and their crewmembers. Students will demonstrate safe and competent, psychomotor and communication skills necessary for client/patient care. Students will be assigned shifts in the local emergency departments and with the paramedic preceptors in Cecil County. Upon successful completion, students will continue into the final Paramedic clinical.
